Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine
It is the main body in the system of central executive authorities to ensure the implementation of state policy in the field of education, scientific, technical, innovation activity and intellectual property. The building of the International Scientific Center "Observatory" is in the state ownership of the Ministry. On August 5, 2017 Minister of Education and Science Liliya Grinevych and chairman of the Committee on Culture and Spirituality of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Mykola Knyazhytsky personally visited the International Scientific Center "Observatory" on Mount Pip Ivan.
Program of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland "Polish Aid"
Polish Development Cooperation Program "Polish Aid" is a set of actions coordinated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland and is addressed to developing of the countries and their communities and its main objective is to create the conditions for their balanced development.
This goal is achieved, in particular, through advertising and consolidation of democracy, through efforts to protect human rights, support for the construction of modern and competent state institutions, the strengthening of sustainable socio-economic development, and through the actions aimed at reducing poverty, improving the health of the population and raising the level of education and professional qualifications of the population. Poland is also engaged in educational initiatives. State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Ivano-Frankivsk Region
The department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Ivano-Frankivsk Region is a regional institution of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. Its main task is to maintain the state policy in the sphere of civil defense, citizens’ defense, protection of territory in case of emergencies, it has to predict and prevent emergencies, as well as fight with their consequences, and it also deals with firefighting, fire safety, man-made emergency safety, and emergency rescue services. The department is under the surveillance of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
In the premises of the International scientific centre “Observatory” there exists a unique high altitude rescue station, the highest one in Ukraine in terms of its position. There works Yavirnytske search and rescue department of the 4th specialized search and rescue group of the emergency rescue unit of the special forces of the department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Ivano-Frankivsk region.
Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine
Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine is the main institution of the executive power that forms and provides realization of the state policy in the sphere of the environment protection, ecology, as well as biological, genetic and radiation safety. On the basis of the International scientific centre “Observatory”, which is located on the territory of the Carpathian national nature park, there will be created a scientific-educational centre aimed at ecological monitoring of the transnational influences and effects. The Vice-Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Vasyl Poluiko, who had already visited the International scientific centre “Observatory” in person in August, 22, 2017, announced that the main task of the ecological monitoring centre would be a complex evaluation of the ecological situation in Central and Eastern Europe as well as prediction and aversion of ecological catastrophes appearance.
Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration
Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration is the local state administration of the Ivano-Frankivsk region. It is headed by Oleg Goncharuk, who is also a co-chairman of the coordination council “Euro Carpathian initiative”, which is aimed at development of the region.
Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Council
Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Council is a representative institution of the local self-government of the Ivano-Frankivsk region. It is a long-term partner of the International scientific centre “Observatory”. Olexandr Sych, who was a Vice-Prime-Minister in 2014, is now the head of the regional council. He has always supported the project of the observatory being restored, irrespective of the level of the council he represented at that time.
Lesser Poland Voivodeship
Lesser Poland is one of the 16 voivodeships, i.e. administrative regions of Poland. It is situated in the southern part of the country neighbouring on Silesian Voivodeship to the west, Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship to the north, Subcarpathian Voivodeship to the east. The area of the voivodeship is 15 182 km square, and it gained its present territory in 1999, January, 1, as a result of the administrative reform. The population of the voivodeship is 3, 26 mln people and it makes it the fourth largest administrative region in Poland. Krakow is the present capital of the land as well as the ancient capital of Poland and the former place of residence of the kings. The Lesser Poland Voivodeship encounters the highest range of Polish mountains – Tatra, as well as five UNESCO World Heritage objects. The Lesser Poland is the motherland of the Pope John Paul II. The marechal of the voivodeship is Jacek Krupa.
Verhovinsky District State Administration
Verkhovyna is the only administrative district of Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, which is completely located on the territory of the Carpathian mountain. In addition to being the highest region of the area, it is also the only one among other areas of the region that borders on another state Romania.

Verhovinsky District Council
The Verkhovyna Council was established in 1962. Population of the Council: 5639 people (as of 2001). The council of the village is the Great Prislip - the highest settlement in Ukraine.
Carpathian National Nature Park
The first and one of the largest national parks in Ukraine. It was created by the decision of the Council of Ministers of the Ukrainian SSR on June 3, 1980. In 1921, within its current territory, a reserve for the protection of the Chornohora virgin forests was created on the area of 447 hectares. Part of the current territory of the park from 1968 to 1980 was a part of the Carpathian State Reserve, from which at the time of creation of the park Goverlyansk and Highland forestry were separated. The International Scientific Center "Observatory" is located on the territory of the Carpathian National Nature Park.
