February 21-23, 2019, a Ukrainian and Polish expert meeting on the restoration of the Astronomical and Meteorological Observatory on Mount Pip Ivan (the Chornohora range, the Carpathians) and the creation of the International Scientific Centre “Observatory” of VasylStefanykPrecarpathian National University and the University of Warsaw (the Republic of Poland) was held in the city of Yaremche. Among the usual participants are representatives of the universities, state authorities, local government bodies, and project development institutions of both countries.
